In the past, people tend to select the biggest and baddest vehicle they can get their hands on, before the economic downturn that is. Some of the biggest names in the auto industry have been jolted to shed acquired brands, streamlining their product lines to time tested models that are sure to sell.

Recent advances in alternative fuels have also affected the way cars are made, used and recycled. High gas prices gave hybrids and plug-in electrics have begun to creep slowly. Gone are the days of the powerful yet gas guzzling vehicles of the past and in comes the era of the hybrid and alternative fueled cars.

the Conclusion of my previous post The Luxury Cars to Insure

The other luxury car worth insuring is the Audi A4. The A4 has a dual-stage and dual-threshold airbag supplemental with occupant sensors. Its new system of seat belts has a good management and usability that enables a safer way of employing seat belts while on the road. Ultimately, it has a child safety feature like LATCH [or the lower anchorage and tethers for children] system placed at the rear seats with child rear locks.

Both the BMW 330i and the Audi A4 have the essential extras that ensure the quality safety above all. One wouldn’t hesitate to get car insurance for these cars as insurance companies charge lower premiums for safe cars as well as give discounts for ant-theft or vehicle-tracking features.

Most luxury cars are luxurious because of the brand and the, of course, the price. However, car companies BMW and Audi have proved that their luxury cars are worth the price and the adjective.
First, the BMW 330i. it has a top list of its general safety feature that includes panic button alarm, side guard door beams, ad child-safety door locks. It also has driver and passenger airbags, a front side airbag, and side head curtain airbags. This variety of airbags has their own safety features as well. All airbags are equipped with sensors, smart dual thresholds, and dual-stage deployments that shall control any uncalled for inflation.
Aside from a set of airbags, the BMW 330i also has anti-theft features that includes selective locking or unlocking feature, the locking fuel filler door or cap, valet lockout, and the vehicle anti-lockout device. Ultimately, the 330i has a stability control that restrains any uncontrolled motion or swerving.

the Continuation of my previous Post The Real Deal with Sports Car Insurance

The Factors which Affect your Insurance Premium

Normal factors which affect insurance premium are age, location, car make, and the like. However, as there is a higher risk involved in sports cars, there is also a higher rate. Most insurance companies charge the same rate for sports car insurances even for different car makes since they have a record of the usual sports car predicaments.

Where to Look for Sports Car Insurance

The internet is a good source for insurance websites and there are a lot. You can start by getting quotes from different companies and find out for yourself which works best for you. Know your concerns and study which insurance company gives the maximum coverage for your needs.

Being a teenager increases your risk on the road. According to studies conducted by insurance companies and government agencies, teen drivers are prone to crash because of their rebellious and thrill-seeking nature: 34% of deaths from car crashes come from speeding, 33% comes for failure to use seatbelts, and 12% from drugs and alcohol. Nationwide, boys are twice as likely as girls to be the driver in a car that would crash and in metropolitan areas, car crashes are twice more likely than in rural areas. To address this, there are training programs to educate teenagers on driving safety and usually these are extended to ensure maximum learning.

OEM, or original equipment manufacturer are those car parts that are generic in nature. They don’t come from the companies where you bought your car. The truth is, generic parts are cheaper and have the same quality like those coming from the manufacturer’s factory. Some insurance companies also prefer generic parts for their cheaper price.

Yes, car insurances accept non-original equipment manufactures, but only some. The hazy things written upon your policies should be read and reviewed many times over and over again. Some might be just tricky and let you end up with nothing. Ask the brokers what they in store for you.

Type of Vehicle – we would all love to cruise around on a Pontiac Solstice or Porsche Boxter but you won’t believe the kind of rates these kinds of cars get. If you want lower premiums, get a car with a lower price.
Driving Violations – this is another thing you can certainly control. While it may be so tempting to race around town upon getting your license, a police ticket is not worth it. It may be a single ticket, but it can do wonders to your insurance premiums as insurance companies keep track of your driving record.
